October is the time people are looking for spooky decorations at McCullochs. However.. did you know the popular costume store in London is open all year long? The store features spooky haunted decorations perfect for any haunted house. You’ll find giant spiders, tombstones, skeletons and body parts all hanging from racks from the stores ceiling. Ghosts and goblins also haunt the store. These items are also available through the stores online<\/a> catalog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of all the spooky decorations at McCullochs<\/a> there are a few not so obvious. Its been sort of a secret. Many McCullochs visitors have no idea it exists. The next time you visit McCullochs at 1140 Dundas St, take a closer look at the makeup counter. Better still, take an even closer look at the grate located at the bottom and just in front of the counter. Do you see anything looking back at you? If you do… thats Fred. Well its what’s left of Fred anyway. Some claim to see him while others do not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s the story of Fred’s Origins?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We can’t talk much about Fred’s history but he has been a part of McCullochs for a very long time. He has witnessed many Halloween<\/a> Seasons at McCullochs come and go over the years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fred hasn’t made a peep in some time. However….. at one time he was known to make a noise or two to spook shoppers looking for halloween costumes. Take a good look for Fred but if you do see him… don’t get too close. Get close to Fred at your own risk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
